阿尔伯塔大学始建于 1908 年，位于北萨斯喀彻温（North Saskatchewan）河边，阿尔伯塔省会埃德蒙顿（Edmonton）市中心，距洛基山脉仅四小时，是全加拿大五所最大的以科研为主的综合性大学之一，其科研水平居加拿大大学队伍的前列。参加全加14个优秀科研网的仅有三所大学，阿尔伯塔大学便跻身其列。在全国大学中，阿尔伯塔大学占皇家学者协会会员人数以及申请美国技术专利和技术转让总数均居第五位，其科研收入与所得资助总额居全国第五。
    阿尔伯塔大学校园内的各种设施十分完备先进。主校园占地 89 公顷，还有 5,000 公顷校外科研用地，广阔的校区容纳了 400 个科研实验室，包括全加最有实力的激光实验室、最居前沿的扫描电子显微镜实验室，两套 NMR 设施和一些农业科研站点。大学图书馆是加拿大第二大科研图书馆，人均图书拥有量居全加第一。Timms 艺术中心拥有国内最新最好的戏剧教学设施。

直接录取：
托福最低分为 580 分（机考 237 分），或雅思 6.5 分 ， 中国的高考成绩 70% 总分；高中成绩平均分 85% 以上。
有条件录取 ：
尚不具备本科直接录取条件的中国学生，可以通过本公司申请阿尔伯塔大学有条件录取，学生将同时收到两份录取通知书：阿尔伯塔大学本科的有条件录取通知书和其合作语言学校录取 通知书。
